Let’s go a little gourmet today!! Why have a plain shortbread cookie when you can have this decadent bad boy!! Its actually a very simple recipe so don’t be intimidated to try it! Make sure your dough is chilled and they will be perfection!

2 sticks butter
2/3 c sugar
1/2 t vanilla
2 c sugar
1/4 t salt
1 T fine ground Chai
1 1/2 c semi sweet chocolate chips
1/2 c heavy cream
Sea salt

I’m mixed bowl cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add vanilla
In separate bowl add flour, salt, and chai. Fluff with fork.
Slowly add to creamed mixture. Roll into a 8 inch log wrap in wax paper. Chill in fridge 1 hour or freeze for 20 min. Bake 12 min at 375. Cool on wire racks
In double boiler melt chips and cream until melted and we’ll blended.
Dip half the cookie in chocolate place on parchment paper. Sprinkle with sea salt. Let set.
