Strawberry Chocolate Stuffed French Toast Sunday, May 3 2015

Looking for a special Sunday morning brunch?? Oh the variations are endless ! Basic ingredients
Loaf of French bread
2 eggs
1/3 cup milk
Mix with whisk or fork
Filling
About 6 strawberries sliced
2Tbs sugar
2Tbs sugar free blackberry jam
Chocolate chips minis work well
Mix all filling ingredients together and set aside for about 10 mins.
Slice bread about 1 1/2 inch think. Cut a slit in each slice. Careful not to go to deep.
Heat skillet, then spray with non stick spray. Put a spoonful of filling in a
slice. Dip into egg mixture. Coat well, place in skillet until browned. Turn and brown all sides. Remove from skillet and sprinkle with confectioners sugar. Or serve with syrup!

Crab filled crescent won tons! Easy to make and ohhh so yummy! They go fast! Here’s what you need

1 can of crescent rolls
1 cup chopped crab
4 oz. Soft cream cheese
1 Tab finely chopped onion
Dash of crushed red pepper

Mix all ingredients together and chill. Unroll dough. Cut into squares.
Preheat oven to 375
You will also need 1 egg white. Slightly beaten
Spoon a scoop of filling onto each square, close to corner. Starting next to corner with filling with roll over. Brush a little on opposite corner to help adhere dough on top. After all are rolled, brush tops with remaining egg white, bake for 10 -15 mins. Until golden.
