Summer is just flying by here in the Chicago burbs! I am loving every minute of it! I especially lazy mornings pool side 🙂 Taking time to make the kiddos something incredible to munch on is one of my favorite things to indulge in. We all love chocolate here. Who doesn’t right?!?!?!  So todays special treat was double chocolate muffins!!! They loved them by the way 🙂 Basic, simple, and oh so decadent.


Dry Ingredients

2 cups flour

1/2 cup cocoa

3/4 cup sugar

3 teas baking powder

1 tsp salt

1 1/2 cups mini chocolate chips

Wet Ingredients

2 eggs

1 cup milk

1/4 cup vegetable oil

3 tsp vanilla

Preheat oven to 375

use muffin liners or grease pans

In bowl mix dry ingredients and chips, set aside

in another bowl whisk wet ingredients

add dry to wet fold but do not over mix.

Scoop into liners bake 15-18 or until spring back when touched.
