Ohhh here’s another case of just can’t leave well enough alone! Yes, banana muffins are good. But, fill them with some nutella, pecans and sea salt and they are even better. I even got I think I’m in love out of my 15 year old over these!! Sooo  if you would like your kids to be in love with a muffin rather then well you get the meaning… Feed them these bad boys 🙂

Simple banana muffin recipe. Makes 12 average size muffins. Line the pans and turn the oven to 350.

Mash 3 bananas

3/4 c Sugar

1 egg

1/3 cup melted butter

1 1/2 cup flour

1 tsp baking soda

1 tsp baking powder

1 tsp sea salt

1 small jar nutella

1/2 chopped pecans

Sift flour, baking soda. set aside

melt butter, add bananas, sugar, egg.

Fold flour mix into banana mix

Fill the bottom about 1/4 c mix of the muffin cups. Carefully add about 1 tbs of nutella on the top of batter, spread out with a spoon. This can be tricky not to mix into batter. Sprinkle pecans over top of nutella, Sprinkle sea salt on pecans. Top with about 1/4 c batter. Bake at 350 for about 25-30, Done when they spring bake. For extra decadence top with drizzle of caramel sauce!!
